DJ Cor @ Green Drinks
Breaks, DJ Cor, DJ Sets, Electrohouse, Funky Breaks, HouseAs promised, here is the set I spun at Green Drinks the other night. Like Jay, I only posted the first 45 minutes or so. After that point the set becomes a bit of a mess, as I started changing styles every few minutes to see if I could get people to stop networking and start dancing. No such luck though. I think things will go differently next month when we can once again use 111 Minna’s main dance floor as opposed to the bar room, which is really set up more for socializing. I don’t fault anyone for not dancing though… I mean, the whole green philosophy starts with conserving energy, right?
Regardless, I had a great time and was just wowed by the turnout… 450 people! I said damn. Thanks to our wonderful friends who came out to support us once again (the free booze didn’t hurt either, eh guys?) and special thanks to Missi who invited us to play. I’m looking forward to next month’s Green Drinks already.

This whole set plays really glitchy/staticy when I try to play it from it’s usual play thing but if I open it in another window and play via quicktime it’s all fine. Do you guys have a similar problem or is just me.

Talha, thanks for the feedback. A lot of people have been reporting the same thing. I’ve experienced it with the same player on other music blogs, so I know what you’re talking about. I guess the player doesn’t do so well with slower connections. You’re right, if you play the mp3 in another window, or download the mp3 and play it straight from your computer it will be fine. I’ll look into the player issues and see if there’s a more reliable one out there we can switch to.
