Bonus Beat: Full Proof - Sunny

Bonus Beats, House

I immediately bought this track after hearing it on Happy Kid Marty’s blue tape. Be warned: the cheesiness factor on this one is pretty high: it’s got a melodic synth line, a warm electric piano, and it even drops all the parts out so a diva can sing one line in the middle. Sheesh.* Even with all that, I still love this track. It’s gotta be my trance roots, because it’s the ending that gets me… all the parts of the song plus a new hook from the breakdown layered perfectly over one another for a resounding climax. It makes for a fantastic final song. Enjoy.

*To his great credit, Marty fades this part out on his mixtape.

I was a much bigger fan of the Doc Martin remix of Sunny on the B side of this vinyl… But then again I was always a much deeper house fan.

  4. First off terrific site! I come back here frequently but I was hoping if anyone could give me a little information. I happened to stumble upon a site that offers a lot of free mp3’s and claim they pay their members for uploading but has someone here tried them out? I think the site was http://www.mediahunt.org but I’m not 100% sure. Thanks for any information you can give me.
