This is a true classic, and the very definition of acid breaks (at least in my mind.) I’ve been spinning both this and the Bassbin Twins remix for years and it still holds up. The original mix in particular got a ton of play from local DJs, and if I had to venture a guess I’d say it’s because the track is just so fun to spin. That pulsating swell sounds great under anything you mix it with. In case you didn’t already know from the record label above, one half of the short-lived Electroliners was none other than DJ Dan, before he made the switch to the funky house that made him famous. I still have one of his old breakbeat mixtapes in my shoebox… I’m sure it will make its way onto the site before long.
