This set has nothing to do with muppets, I just thought the name Electric Mayhem, shamelessly ripped-off from the band pictured above, was an appropriate title. Seriously, with the number of sets I’ve recorded in my time I should know that I’m headed for trouble when I try to include ALL my recent favorites regardless of how well the songs work together. In this case, I couldn’t decide between my latest banging electrohouse or funky breaks tracks, so naturally I included both. What resulted is the set below: a chaotic hodgepodge that ricochets back and forth between the two styles like a bowling ball on one of those kiddie bumper lanes… which isn’t to say it’s bad. Like bumper bowling, or the muppets for that matter, it’s a wild and unpredictable good time that the kids are sure to enjoy. Turn it up loud, and keep funkin’ that chicken.

Finally!!! welcome back, DJ Cor
This is just what i needed to shake off my week of sickness.
If someone told me they had never heard dj cor, I’d give them this set cause it’s the classic, “saturday night cor” sound. So many good tracks and I don’t think it’s a chaotic hodgepodge cause they all belong in this mix. The basslines grabbed me and didn’t let go! Yes!!
dj cor’s his own biggest critic, but he should take it easier on himself. this is a great set: a fun trip across genres that’s emblematic of cor’s funky, booty-shakin’ style.

SOLID SET! My ear has no problem banging from the funky to the electro, and I like all these tracks. It comes off as ‘can’t wait to hear what’s next’ and not ‘oh my god did he really put those two songs together’. Thanks again, DJ Cor! You still got it!
And this, Cor, is why you’re my favorite DJ. I wish I could go out and hear you spin at least twice a week! I was tired when I started this mix to help me motivate and clean my place. Now I’m wide awake! How will I take my disco nap now, Cor? How?
